- information seeking behavior: emotional implications of online info retrieval, anxiety over the use of networked knowledge systems without understanding digital information architecture, navigation to objects of interest (OOI) especially visual objects of interest
- capturing and documenting: outdated technology, web-hosted pages, electronic correspondence–(collected letters as collected emails), wayback machines
- the democratization of media: new developments in collection development for self-published and e-published material
